Appointed in early 1999 to the Fourteenth Court of Appeals by then-Governor George W. Bush, Justice Frost took her public oath of office on April 1, 1999. She was elected in 2000 to fill an unexpired term, and then re-elected in 2002 and again in 2008. Before taking the bench, Justice Frost enjoyed a 15-year civil trial and appellate practice, with an emphasis on complex business litigation.
